Clearing environmental hurdles so your project moves forward

Development projects increasingly hinge on navigating environmental regulations early. Oaks Environmental helps engineering firms, developers, and architects clear environmental hurdles — from wetlands to water resources — so projects stay on schedule and on solid regulatory footing.

Wetland Delineations

A wetland delineation identifies and maps the boundaries of jurisdictional wetlands on a property using the criteria in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers delineation manual. Knowing where regulated wetlands lie early in the planning process lets developers design around constraints, avoid costly redesigns, and support permitting decisions.

Waters of the U.S. Evaluations

Determining whether features on a site qualify as Waters of the United States is critical to understanding federal Clean Water Act jurisdiction. We evaluate streams, ponds, and other features and document our findings so clients can anticipate permitting requirements and avoid unexpected regulatory exposure as the scope of WOTUS continues to evolve.

NEPA Support

Projects involving federal funding, permits, or land often trigger review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Oaks Environmental supports the NEPA process with environmental documentation and technical analysis — contributing to categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements that withstand agency and public scrutiny.

Water Studies

Water studies evaluate how a project interacts with surface water and groundwater resources. From drainage and stormwater considerations to water-quality and supply questions, we provide the technical analysis clients need to design responsibly and meet regulatory expectations.
